Australia still ‘digitally attractive’ despite rampant piracy

[1] According to the new findings of the EY’s Global Digital Media Attractiveness, Australia has been ranked 8th globally for its ‘digital attractiveness despite being the world’s second highest illegal downloader.

[2] The report found that Australia’s low market costs and risks make it a strong market for digital companies.

[3] EY’s David McGregor said Australia has a smaller ‘millennial population of active set between ages 18 and 39, but its activeness online presents huge opportunities for media and entertainment companies.5
