NBN Co picks spots for HFC trial

[1] NBN Co will begin a ‘construction trial’ to test the proposed HFC network upgrades in about three month’s time.

[2] The trial, which will start in New South Wales and Queensland, will kick start the revised HFC plan that includes an HFC customer pilot in Q4 of 2015 and an initial product launch in Q1 of next year.

[3] NBN Co looks to improve the HFC networks to support the increasing number of users as HFC is set to be default technology for premises currently passed or adjacent to cable.
