Telstra joins 4G broadcast group

[1]Australian giant telco Telstra is now the newest member to join a group called The LTE Broadcast User Group that share best practices in LTE Broadcast.

[2] The group consists of content providers, mobile operators and device manufacturers, including Facebook, Ericsson, the GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association), the GSMA, Indycar, KPN, Intel, Verizon and Qualcomm.

[3] The group aims to promote the wider use of LTE Broadcast in the industry and catalyse the development of an ecosystem around the LTE technology and services.
