[1] Optus has announced that it has finally achieved download speeds of 480 megabits per second (Mbps) on a single user device.
[2] This new capability was attained on one of the “Gigasites” that Optus uses to test the latest 4G technology developments.
[3] Optus also achieved a peak download speed of 415 Mbps in 40 MHz of spectrum after tested carrier aggregation in conjunction with “4×4 Multiple input multiple output (MIMO)”.
