Melbourne IT to buy Uber Global for $15m

[1] Melbourne IT, a web services and domain names provider, plans to buy Australian cloud services company Uber Global for $15.5 million.

[2] Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) will purchase 100% of the issued capital of Uber in a Share Purchase Agreement.

[3] The deal will significantly expand Melbourne IT’s customer base in addition to providing material synergy benefits of approximately $3.5 million yearly.
