Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA): Parents ‘want kids taught digital skills’

[1] According to AIIA, more than three quarters of Australian parents want kids taught ‘digital skills’, as they think that digital skills and computer programming should be included into school curriculums.

[2] This comes from the Digital Skills and Careers Report through collaboration between the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), National ICT Australia (NICTA) and the Australia Computer Society (ACS).

[3] The research, which was conducted by Newspoll in 2014, showed that 61% of Aussie find important to teach school children about how to design, build or program computer.
