Catch-up TV leads Australians’ online video use

[1] A new research by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has found that online video content services are expanding Australians’ entertainment options.

[2] ACMA has published a detailed report on Australians’ usage of Online Video Content (OVC), dubbed ‘Supply and demand—Catch-up TV leads Australians’ online video use’.

[3] The report found that the dominant entertainment medium is still the free-to-air broadcast TV, but 52% of Australia’s adult Internet users have viewed TV programs or feature films online.
