Australian businesses caught in the cyber crosshairs

[1] ANZ hasn’t been immune to global cybercrime, with a close call coming from an NZ malware from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks that took down an entire IT infrastructure.

[2] Reports indicate that a growing number of such incidents originate in ANZ, but very few are disclosed.

[3] According to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), an average of 16,500 malware cases is reported daily to Australian internet service providers as of last year.
