Technology teaching needs to start from day one: ACS

  • The Australian Computer Society (ACS) says they’re glad about the federal government’s assessment of the national curriculum but there are some differences that need to be dealt with.
  • At an early age, children should already be taught with digital literacy, basic coding, etc.
  • There’s a growing demand for digitally literate individuals and so technology teaching should begin ever before year 9.
