NBN contractor Techdrill ‘squeezed’ into liquidation

[1] Techdrill Mining and Civil Services, one of the companies building the national broadband network has collapsed, saying that they lack work from Australia’s largest infrastructure project.

[2] On Tuesday, the company entered voluntary administration, quoting that it had been “squeezed”.

[3] This comes about with NBN Co’s shift from plan to connect fiber optic to 93 per cent of Australian homes and businesses, meaning less digging and drilling was needed.
