IBM dismisses report of massive layoffs

[1] IBM has come out to dismiss reports that claim that the technology giant firm is planning to lay off about 26 per cent of its workforce.

[2] The firm claims that it is cutting jobs, as disclosed in its latest earnings report last week, but just a “small fraction” of what has been reported in magazines, specifically Forbes report.

[3] In Australia, it is believed that IBM slashed up to 1500 workers in 2013 alone, and was also planning to cut more this year.
