Australian emergency services seek phone GPS access

[1] Australian emergency services organizations are hoping to gain GPS information from mobile phones to detect the various locations of emergency callers.

[2] From fixed phone services, Australians are shifting to mobile devices, and so, it has been a difficult task for Triple Zero services to figure out the accurate positions of callers.

[3] With the help of the Emergency+ smartphone app, Triple Zero can obtain a person’s GPS information, and in turn, offer quicker emergency services.
