[1] A government app dubbed “FireReady” from the state of Victoria, Australia, has been giving erroneous alerts for non-existent forest fires.
[2] Last week, Residents of Redesdale town received lasts from the FireReady app of huge fires about 3.5km away, when there was no fire within 20km.
[3] The app, which notifies its users of all fires reported through the emergency number 000, also erroneously displayed fire warnings for 6 hours by default.
