[1 A new research has shown that while about three quarters of Australians use public networks, two thirds of them care little about the security of these networks.
[2] The Stay Smart Online study showed users’ behaviors regarding security on public networks, with 79 percent of respondents only worrying about clearing their browser history than changing their passwords half-yearly.
[3] However, security awareness among smartphone users is slowing improving with number of users locking their phone increasing by 10 percent since last year.
