Federal Government departments hoarding unused iPhones, iPads, computers and TVs

[1] Federal bureaucrats have revealed that there are $9 million of electrical devices which are “unallocated”, and that Federal Departments are paying huge devices’ storage fees.

[2] The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Tax Office have proved that they spending more than $100,000 each year as storage expenses for unallocated devices.

[3] The Abbott government required that Departments and agencies are accountable for their own collection of unallocated devices.
