GTA V pulled from Target Australia for depictions of violence against women

[1] The Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V which has a R18+ rating in Australia will be banished from department stores in Australia as it encourages sexual violence against women.

[2] The action is a response to a “community pressure” from Change.org which criticizes the video game’s illustration of women’s violence.

[3] The petition was constructed by three survivors of sexual violence and they got 42,000 signatures.
