Joe Hockey is eyeing off a ‘Google tax’ for Australia

[1] Joe Hockey is planning to impose a “Google Tax” as a new means to uplift profit in multinational enterprises.

[2] Diverted Profits Tax’ also known as Google Tax will be imposed at 25 percent starting this April 1, 2015.

[3] If this Google tax will be successfully launched in Australia, it would produce a 30 percent tax on a portion of the US$44 billion.
