[1] NBN Co has announced that it will stop offering ‘fiber-to-the-premise’ services, but will still care for special individual or business needs through ‘fiber on demand’ product.
[2] It has reiterated that it will still meet the minimum data rate that is stipulated in the Federal Government’s broadband policy though a proper multi-technology mix guide.
[3] In the move, customers already using the Optus or Telstra Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) cable networks will receive an HFC network upgrade so that they can receive fast broadband.
