IT left out in Australia’s future vision

[1] The Australian government’s Industry Innovation and Competitiveness Agenda has been released but left out a vision for the IT industry.

[2] The Department of Communications’ chief economist, Dr Paul Patterson, confirmed that the new Bureau of Communications Research would focus on recognition, communications markets and innovation, policy changes and policy formulation.

[3] If the ICT industry will assist the Bureau of Communications Research work, then its contribution to the economy will be recognized.
