Western Australian government pledges a further $20 million to the startup sector

[1] WA Premier Colin Barnett has revealed two things: $20 million cash injection for startups and current finance minister Bill Marmion will also take on a new role, minister for innovation.

[2] Enabling WA to expand its tech sector, this cash injection will be spent in across four years, adding up to the $30 million committed funds for innovation for all sectors.

[3] StartupWA director Justin Strharsky believes Western Australian startups are in “cloud nine”.
