Domino’s Pizza unveils world’s first autonomous delivery vehicle

[1] Domino’s Pizza has announced its plans for the world’s first commercial autonomous delivery vehicle, the Domino’s Robotic Unit, dubbed as DRU.

[2] Australian startup Marathon Robotics designed the four-wheeled driverless vehicle equipped with pizza box-sized compartments.

[3] DRU has been tested in the private streets of Brisbane but it won’t be hitting the streets just yet to ensure that DRU is constantly monitored and safety is a top priority as well.
