Hackers lock up thousands of Australian computers, demand ransom

[1] Australian computers are being hacked by use of malicious softwares that encrypts files and asking ransom in return.

[2] “Cryptolocker” and “CryptoWall” as dubbed, is infected to a computer after clicking a link in an email that purports to be from Australia Post or Telstra.

[3] A firm called “Decrypt Cryptolocker” was formed in order to help victims prevent these cases.
