[1] The WA-government owned energy supplier, Western Power, has deployed a new cloud-based data analytics solution to assist engineers investigate the locations and causes of outages.
[2] The solution is delivered by the Microsoft Power BI platform and hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud, allowing to technicians automatically collate and analyse data collected from meters across the state.
[3] This is set to change the previous manual and time-consuming process in identifying regional outage trends and geographical hotspots.
