[1] Promoting all things open access, the eighth Open Access (OA) week officially begun yesterday.

[2] This day also marks the three year existence of the Australasian Open Access Support Group (AOASG) – an organization of nine Australian universities that advocates for OA in the region.

[3] It’s been 25 years since the web existed and more than 15 years since people knew about open access, but Australia’s battle for open access still has a long way to go.
