Australian tech startup BigCommerce closes US$30m funding round

[1] Australian e-commerce platform BigCommerce revealed their recently closed US$30 million (A$41 million) funding round.

[2] The funding round was initiated by venture capital firm GGV Capital, together with  existing investors like General Catalyst, Revolution Growth, SoftBank Capital, Tenaya, Split Rock, Telstra Ventures and American Express Ventures.

[3] Through this deal, Managing Partner at GGV Capital, Jeff Richards, will become one of the BigCommerce board of directors.
