[1] A Sydney-based startup has launched WelcomeOver, which is widely recognized as an “Airbnb for food”.

[2] The platform connects people who likes cooking at home with people who’d like to come for a communal dinner.

[3] The startup’s co-founder, Nelson Hidalgo, decided to launch in Australia to launch thinking that people are eager to try new cuisine and have new acquaintances rather than eating out at restaurants.
