Border Force deports co-founder of $1m startup Disrupt

[1] Disrupt’s co-founder, Chris Bailey, was deported to the UK after lying about completing his fruit picking stint in Australia.

[2] Gary Elphick, co-founder of customised sports equipment manufacturer Disrupt, lost hope the government’s highly praised ‘ideas boom.”

[3] Since three months of fruit picking is given more importance compared to spending three months of working on a startup, Elphick considers it a “mockery” of the government’s innovation plans.
