Aussie tech firms tap into Singapore

[1] Although the federal government has showed their outpouring support for innovation, local tech companies are recognizing Singapore as their stepping stone to a successful future.

[2] Sydney-based Gemstar Technology CEO Gemma Manning says the Singaporean government’s innovation investment of US1.3 billion ($A1.72 billion) is a great deal of motivation for Australians.

[3] Manning’s company will be taking six Aussie firms on a trade mission to Singapore with high hopes that the Australian government will choose Singapore as one of the five global Landing Pads.
