CareMonkey declines richest start-up prize

[1] Melbourne-based startup CareMonkey, sweeped the world’s richest startup competition prize of $1 million at Finland’s Slush in Helsinki.

[2] Australian startups winning competitions like these are rare, but what’s more unusual is, the company turned  down the prize.

[3] CareMonkey chief executive Troy Westley felt it is difficult to establish a partnership with a company in Helsinki.
