The startup industry’s new year resolution should be to stop asking for taxpayers’ money

[1] Traveling to the US this week, Malcolm Turnbull’s mission is to sell off Australia as a trade and investment haven to the US Chamber of Commerce.

[2] Australia has a lot to offer: it’s a great place to live and work with its clean beaches, exceptional schools, tasty food, and peaceful residents.

[3] But Australia is faced with many challenges, particularly, it’s way far from the more advanced Western countries.
