[1] NSW’s innovation minister Victor Dominello could soon have the power to force state government agencies to hand over data to the soon-to-be-established Data Analytics Centre.

[2] The proposed new legislation, which has passed the NSW upper house, gives the minister the power to force state government agencies to hand over data to the soon-to-be-established Data Analytics Centre.

[3] The minister could also have the powers to request details of the kinds of data each agency holds.
