[1] According to a research by Roy Morgan, Netflix has hit 1 million subscribers in Australia, just eight months after it officially launched in the country.
[2] The figures show that the TV and movie streaming service is now even more popular with Australian audiences, having jumped from 968,000 subscribers in September to 1,039,000 last month.
[3] Netflix’s popularity in Australia has in turn affected the rate of downloading for TV shows and movies – declining from 10.8 per cent a year ago to 9.1 per cent now.
