Driverless cars tested in Australia for first time

[1] Driverless cars are being tested in South Australia’s Southern Expressway for the first time.

[2] The controlled testing of these cars portrayed a “major turning point” in driverless technology.

[3] The independent road expert ARRB, the Australian Driverless Vehicle Initiative and Volvo conducted the trials to see the cars’ other capabilities as well as of how far the technology has come.
