[1] A new bill introduced into parliament by the Victorian state government will soon enable Victorian police to remotely hack into computer systems used by terror suspects.

[2] The Terrorism (Community Protection) Amendment Bill 2015 was introduced this week in the Legislative Assembly by Victoria’s attorney-general, Martin Pakula.

[3] The bill would allow police to obtain a warrant authorising them to extend their operations to include remote entry of any electronic equipment that is on the premises and obtain information therein.
