Australia tops world for cyber security incidents

[1] According to PwC’s Global State of Information Security Survey, the number of cyber security incidents detected in Australia skyrocketed by 109 per cent over the past one year.

[2] This comes to a figure of 9,434 – which was triple the number of incidents globally at 38.5 per cent.

[3] The survey also found that Australia recorded the second highest average loss from incidents behind Japan at $3.27 million.
