[1] University and research agency chiefs have been called to a private meeting by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Friday to find ways to drive more industry collaboration and innovative businesses.
[2] The meeting at Western Sydney University in Penrith is the first steps taken by Mr Turnbull to align the government’s focus on innovation to create jobs and prosperity.
[3] Among the attendees is Prof. Roy Green, dean of business at University of Technology (Sydney), a longtime adviser to governments on innovation and most recently to the Digital Transformation Office.
