Australian Advocacy group StartupAUS welcomes focus on innovation

[1] StartupAUS has welcomed a series of policies formally unveiled this week by the ALP.

[2] The new policies include the creation of 100,000 university placements for STEM students, creation of a ‘startup year’ for final year university students and new entrepreneur visa, among others.

[3] The ‘startup year’ policy will allow 2000 students to access loans through the HELP system in a bid to help them establish a startup business through an accelerator.
