Facebook appoints new MD for Australia and New Zealand

[1] Stephen Scheeler, Facebook head of retail and automotive, has been appointed as the social media giant’s new managing director Australia and New Zealand.

[2] He replaces Will Easton who will be handling the new role of head of emerging markets for Asia Pacific based in Singapore from August this year.

[3] Scheeler will work with brands, agencies and clients to drive their business results – with11 million people in Australia and 2 million in New Zealand using Facebook daily.
