First NBN satellite to launch 1 October and deliver broadband to Australia’s remote areas

[1] The first NBN satellite is set to launch 1 October this year that will deliver the much needed broadband to remote areas of Australia.

[2] Two satellites will be incorporated to deliver NBN’s Long-Term Satellite Service.

[3] The satellites are expected to cover up to 200,000 homes and businesses, and deliver peak speeds of up to 25 megabits per second to rural and regional areas of Australia.
