[1] South East Queensland has been earmarked by Cisco as Australia’s first ‘smart region’, a growing digital hotbed with 30,000 new jobs and a potential $10 billion economic boost in the coming years.

[2] This has come to light through its newly released report compiled with insights from 1041 residents and business groups including RACQ and the National Retailers Association.

[3] The benefits that will come with the digitization include intelligent lighting and parking, citizen applications and smart power metering, among others.
