Australia’s DTO hires UK govt’s digital ‘boy wonder’

[1] Australia’s Digital Transformation Office is head-hunting through the ranks of the UK government, setting its eyes on the high-profile ‘boy wonder civil servant’ Jordan Hatch from the Government Digital Service.

[2] The teenager is credited for creating a portal for paying local government taxes online and a popular public holiday app.

[3] Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull said that the DTO was modelled on its London-based equivalent, and head-hunting for the right skills would be beneficial for Australia.
