Wi-Fi makes public transport smart: Ruckus Wireless

[1] According to global Wi-Fi technology company, Ruckus Wireless, free Wi-Fi is just the beginning and transport authorities could do much more with the service to improve commuter services.

[2] Ruckus Wireless A/NZ managing director, Pat Devlin, revealed that they’ll soon be working closely with transport networks worldwide to take advantage of location based services and Wi-Fi analytics for commuters.

[3] This revelation comes after the news that the Public Transport Authority in Western Australia is looking to deploy Wi-Fi on trains and upgrade its transport network.
