SydStart’s first batch of speakers are all men, but organisers promise women are on the way

[1] SydStart, which was acquired by Freelancer last year, has announced its first lineup of speakers, but only one thing has turned out to be common – they are all men.

[2] The lineup of speakers include the likes of 9GAG founder Ray Chan, first Dropbox marketer Sean Ellis and former director of product management at Facebook for mobile Mick Johnson, among others.

[3] Freelancer’s senior international director Adam Byrnes, explained that several women were urged to take part in the conference but they were asking for fees, which the conference does not provide.
