[1] Brisbane’s River City Labs saw Prime Minister Tony Abbott and federal MP Wyatt Roy pay a visit Startup Weekend Brisbane.

[2] The event saw 120 budding entrepreneurs come together and formulate ideas and discuss tech platforms and a business plan, and eventually pitch 22 startups to a panel of esteemed judges on Sunday.

[3] PowerDialer, a cloud-based auto-dialling platform, was declared a winner of Startup Weekend and earned the top prize.
