Gold Coast trialling CBA Albert payment kiosks

[1] A trial, using CommBank’s Android-based EFTPOS tablet ‘Albert’, is being carried out by the City of Gold Coast to allow residents to seamlessly pay their rates and water bills.

[2] The trial is being performed at Elanora and Runaway Bay libraries for 12 months, and another at the Surfers Paradise customer service centre to help reduce queues during peak hours.

[3] People can scan their printed notice or key in the notice number – then enter the payment amount and follow the prompts until the payment is confirmed by a printed receipt.
