Government exploit vendor hacked, client data exposed

[1] The world’s most notorious providers of offensive information technology to governments has had its internal systems hacked and customer documentation laid out on the open internet.

[2] The Twitter account of Hacking Team, which offers surveillance software and intrusion tools to law enforcement agencies globally, was today compromised and internal files leaked to the internet.

[3] According to Hacking Team’s wiki, Australia is also listed as a customer with a leaked client renewal list revealing the Australian Federal Police at one stage made use of Hacking Team’s technology.
