[1] Content delivery provider Akamai has delivered its latest quarterly ‘State of the Internet’ report, showing that Australia has dropped two spots in average peak connection speeds to 47th position.
[2] Australia is down to 50th position globally in broadband connectivity above 4Mbps, but doing better in its overall average– remaining in 42nd position.
[3] The report noted that while Australian Government continues to struggle with the implementation of the ‘multi-technology mix’ broadband’, other countries are adopting fibre to the premises and moving past us.
