Telstra’s Air wi-fi network goes private

[1] Telstra is planning to unveil its national wi-fi network on Tuesday, which will now only allow its home broadband customers to access the hotspots.

[2] The telco announced its plans to build a $100 million international wi-fi network within five years mid last year, and has been enticing browsers with free access for seven months.

[3] It will offer its home broadband customers access to 4000 of its purpose-built hotspots across 250 locations through a dedicated Telstra Air app.
