TAFE NSW systems crash hits Seek’s bottom line

[1] The myriad of systems issues at TAFE NSW which prevented students from enrolling in courses will force job search group Seek to take a revenue hit to its Learning business.

[2] TAFE’s technical issues resulted in lengthy delays to the enrolment process and was blamed on the “implementation issues” with the new student administration and learning management (SALM).

[3] The systems failure meant thousands of students could not officially enroll for their courses for more than a month after classes started, while others were unable to access results or fee notices.
