40 councils within NSW renew their contracts with VMware

[1] VMware, a cloud infrastructure and business mobility company, will continue to provide its services to 40 councils in NSW, following their joint renewal and extension of their contracts with the company.

[2] This will enable the NSW councils to manage their virtual environments and to better forecast and manage capacity while tackling challenges such as disaster recovery and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

[3] Queanbeyan City Council has expanded on its contract with VMware to include AirWatch and also trial the vCloud Air Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).
